Ontario's Workforce Priority stream accepts CELPIP-General (not General LS) and scores language on your lowest CLB level across listening, reading, writing, and speaking. CELPIP levels convert to CLB one to one, so a CELPIP 8 in every skill except a 7 in writing counts as CLB 7: 8 points instead of 12. The minimum to apply ranges from CLB 4 to CLB 6 depending on your job offer's TEER category.

Your lowest ability (CLB 7) clears the CLB 6 minimum for TEER 0-3 occupations.

+4Raising writing to CLB 8 takes you to 12 points.

EOI is your Expression of Interest: the profile Ontario scores out of 130 points, with invitations to apply going to the highest-ranked profiles in each draw. Ontario scores language on your lowest CLB level across all four abilities, in your stronger official language. CELPIP levels 4-12 convert to CLB one to one. TEER is the job's skill level in the National Occupational Classification: the second digit of the NOC code on your job offer, where 0-3 covers managerial, professional, and technical work and 4-5 covers jobs learned through on-the-job training.
