How CELPIP Reading works
A quick look at the official CELPIP Reading format.
Practice every part of the official CELPIP Reading section: a personal email (Part 1), a diagram with an email reply (Part 2), an informational article in several paragraphs (Part 3), and an opinion piece with a reader comment (Part 4). Every passage is timed like the real exam and scored right away, with answer explanations for the multiple-choice and dropdown questions.
The CELPIP Reading section is 55 to 60 minutes long, with 38 questions across four parts. Time management matters. Most test-takers find Part 4 (Viewpoints) the densest, because it pairs an opinion article with a reader comment that you have to compare carefully.
Practising one part at a time builds the reading skills each part needs. Working through complete tests trains the pacing you need to finish the last passage without rushing.
