How CELPIP Listening works
A quick look at the official CELPIP Listening format.
Practice every part of the official CELPIP Listening section: Problem Solving, Daily Life Conversation, Listening for Information, News Item, Discussion, and Viewpoints. Each passage is recorded with Canadian English voices and plays at real test pace. The questions use the same multiple-choice format you will see on test day. After you submit, you get answer explanations for every question, so you know exactly where you lost points.
The CELPIP Listening section takes about 47 to 55 minutes. It has six parts and around 38 multiple-choice questions. Each audio plays only once. There is no replay button on the real test, and our practice works the same way by default.
Most test-takers find Part 5 (Discussion) and Part 6 (Viewpoints) the hardest, because they are long and dense. Practising them under real test conditions is the fastest way to build the stamina you need for CLB 9 or higher.
