Built on the official
CELPIP rubric, not guesswork.
Celpify is an independent CELPIP practice platform built by people who sat the test. Guides and practice items are reviewed by the Celpify Editorial Team and checked against the official CELPIP test materials.
Who's behind Celpify
Two immigrants who sat the test. Not a content farm.
Celpify started with a frustrated test-taker. One of our founders, an immigrant and a long-time software engineer, was preparing for the CELPIP and went looking for a place to practise. What he found was a row of self-proclaimed prep sites padded with low-quality, AI-generated filler. None of it scored him the way the real test would. So he built the platform he couldn't find.
His co-founder, also an immigrant, runs the marketing side and has sat the CELPIP several times along with the IELTS. Between them, the pain points aren't theoretical. Mistimed Listening sections, vague feedback, second-attempt nerves: they've lived all of it. That's the reason this exists, not a gap in a keyword tool.
The team includes a native English speaker and English teacher who has helped many test-takers reach high CELPIP and IELTS scores. Celpify is independent and not affiliated with the official CELPIP test. Our identity is public: Celpify is a registered entity on Wikidata.
How we keep it accurate
The process behind every question and guide.
Checked against the official source
Every test-format claim, question type, and timing detail is verified against the official CELPIP test materials and the published study packs at celpip.ca. When the official source changes, the source wins and we correct it.
Scored to the official rubric
Reading and Listening are auto-scored. Writing and Speaking get an AI examiner graded to the official CELPIP rubric and Canadian Language Benchmark criteria, not a generic essay score.
Written for real test-takers
Guides are written for B1 to B2 ESL readers in Canadian English. The editorial team includes a native English teacher who has coached test-takers to high CELPIP and IELTS scores. Clear and scannable, because the reader is preparing for a high-stakes test, not reading for pleasure.
Practice-first, not tips-first
Reading a list of tips is not the same as answering under timing. Most of the platform is timed practice with feedback, not advice you read once and forget.
Why Celpify exists
The stakes are real, so the prep should be too.
A CELPIP result is rarely just a test score. It gates Express Entry, provincial nominations, Canadian citizenship, and, since August 2025, Australian skilled migration. People retake it because one band on one skill can change an application.
That is why the bar here is the official rubric, not a vague sense of "good English". Practice that scores you the way the test scores you is the only practice that tells you where you actually stand.

Common questions
Independence, accuracy, and what we don't promise.
Is Celpify affiliated with CELPIP?
No. Celpify is an independent practice platform. CELPIP is a registered trademark of Prometric Canada, the company that owns the test, and we are not affiliated with or endorsed by them. We use the publicly available official CELPIP materials as a reference to keep our content accurate.
Who builds Celpify's content?
Celpify was built by two immigrant founders: a software engineer who built it after failing to find decent practice, and a marketer who has sat the CELPIP several times plus the IELTS. The Celpify Editorial Team writes and reviews the guides, and the team includes a native English teacher who has helped many people score high on the CELPIP and IELTS. We attribute content to the team, not to invented individual authors, and we don't publish fake bylines or credentials.
How do you keep the content accurate?
Every test-format fact is checked against the official CELPIP test materials and the published study packs at celpip.ca. Practice is scored against the official CELPIP rubric and Canadian Language Benchmark criteria. When the official source changes, we correct our content.
Is Celpify free?
Practice questions and tools like the CLB converter are free. Full mock tests and AI feedback on Writing and Speaking are part of a paid tier. We don't guarantee a score or an immigration outcome.
